Cell Animation.

This was another one of my favorites. I enjoyed doing this. I felt like we could use more of our imagination when working on this one. I learned how animation works, and I don't think there is really anything I would change on this.

Opt Art #2.

I didn't like this piece as much as the first one we did. I think all of the coloring made it look sloppy and what not. But it taught me how to make an optical illusion using a color scheme.

Opt Art #1

I found this assignment to be really interesting. It taught me how to make somewhat of an optical illusion, and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't change a thing about it if I had the chance to.

Text Collage.

I also enjoyed working on this project. I tried to have a theme that focused on food and kitchen supplies, so it would have been much easier with more cooking magazines. Due to the lack of those magazines, it took me more time to find food-related words, so I didn't quite get the chance to finish. But, if I had the time to finish it, I think it would have turned out much better. This piece also taught me how to make an image from text. I liked it.

Character Skeleton.

I think this was my favorite assignment from the second semester that we did. Personally, I think it turned out really well and looked good. I learned how to draw the skeleton version of a picture, and I wouldn't change anything about it. As I said before, I really enjoyed doing this.

3 piece positive and negative.

This piece, was pretty much similar to the 4 piece positive and negative assignment. Like I said before, I liked it, I just wish that I would have chosen different letters that worked better together than the ones that I did choose. Over all, I did like this project.

4 piece negative & positive.

I liked this piece for the most part, I just wished that I would've done it neater. If I were to do it over again, I would choose to do different letters that looked better. This piece taught me the way negative and positive makes shapes appear.

Doodle Assignment

The doodle assignment was also one of my favorites. Overall, I felt very successful with this specific piece. I thought it was fun drawing this project, I just wish I had more ideas as to what I could draw in each space. If I were to do this piece over, I would try and make it look more interesting and neater.

One Point Perspective Hallway

I honestly liked this project. I felt quite successful with the end result. I thought that it turned out looking the way it should, and was kind of fun to draw. The only thing that I wish I could've done been better would be think of more creative things to add in my hallway. If I were to do this project over again, chances are, I wouldn't change a single thing. I didn't find anything very challenging in this piece, besides trying to figure out what went back to the focal point, and what didn't. This art project taught me how to draw 3 dimensional objects from a one point perspective.

One Point Perspective

For the most part, I really enjoyed this piece. I felt successful with understanding the process of drawing a one-point perspective, but I didn't feel that successful with the way it turned out. I thought the end result looked really sloppy, even though I did try. If I had the chance to do this project over again, I would take more time, and probably do a rough draft first. When I drew my name, I just sort of winged it when it came to the layout. It didn't look as well as I had planned, but that's okay because I learned the difference between a one point perspective drawing and a two point perspective.

Two Point Perspective Building Drawing

I didn't enjoy this piece that much, because it's a lot harder than it looks. I don't feel very successful with this individual project, because I started drawing a different building and had too much trouble with it, so I began to draw this one, leaving me with not much time to include details in my building. If I were to do this project over, I would take more time on it. The most difficult part was including details and trying to figure out which lines go back to the focal point and which ones just go straight. Although I didn't like it that much, this piece did help me understand 3-dimensional drawings and how they work.

Color Wheel.

The color wheel project was definitely one of my favorites. I thought it was fun and creative. I felt quite successful with this piece, although I wish I could have come up with a more intriguing design. I believe that the colors flowed nicely together and it turned out pretty decent. I would gladly do this project again, but I would most likely research different designs to get more ideas. I might also consider making the colors a little bit darker.I think the most difficult part about this project was mixing the colors without making them too dark, or too light. They had to be the perfect shade in order to look well. This piece taught me how the color wheel works and how colors are related.
