I liked this piece the best. I thought it was the best looking one I've done so far. I thought the shading looked really well, and the clothing looked real. I didn't find this drawing to be very difficult. After doing this, I learned how to make clothing come to life, and how to draw a person better.
I enjoyed drawing this piece. I'm sure it could improve quite a bit, but for never drawing multiple objects at once, I think I did okay. I believe the shading helped bring this piece to life. If I were to do this over, I would take more time on the umbrella, and attempt to draw it more of how I see it, than what it actually is. I think it was a little difficult to draw this because of how things overlapped.
I thought that this piece of artwork was decent for being my first art project, but it doesn't quite fit the standards of my art skills now. Considering that I have improved a lot since my first project, I think that the skills I acquire now would make this project look much better. I learned that you can't draw an object by what you know it is, you have to draw it by what it looks like.
